Baxter County offices to close Friday for Christmas holiday

County offices in Baxter County will be closed Friday following a proclamation by the governor and a federal holiday designation.
Baxter County Judge Kevin Litty said the closure aligns with the governor’s proclamation declaring state offices closed on Dec. 26, in addition to the previously scheduled holidays on Dec. 24 and 25, as well as an executive order by President Trump designating Dec. 26 a federal holiday this year.

The closure will allow county employees additional time with their families over the Christmas holiday.
