2025 has been a significant year for Unit4. It has just published a business update for the second half of 2025, highlighting several milestones it has achieved this year. During 2025, it achieved its 100th
New customers included Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, Epical, and Gemeente Delft. Momentum is also solid, with 150 customers signed up and over 350 in the current pipeline. First rolled out in Q1 2021, momentum has steadily grown every quarter.

We remain dedicated to enabling our people and customers to achieve goals more efficiently and effectively, so it was fantastic to celebrate our 100th ERPx customer in H2, with hundreds more “in the wings”, either signed and en route to go-live or in the contracting stages.
“It is also why we continue to invest in our core products, such as Unit4 Financials by Coda, and our people with the AI Learning Festival. The world of work is changing dramatically and rapidly, which can create uncertainty for everyone, so our commitment to innovation and customer success sends a message that we are 100% focused on creating even greater value for our customers while also enabling our employees to understand how work should feel with the support of AI tools.”
A reinvigorated CODA Financials
Unit4 also announced a major investment in Coda Financials. In September, it appointed Derek Kudsee as Managing Director, Unit4 Financials by Coda. He intends to reinvigorate the brand and product and to increase its footprint.
Unit4 hosted a Unit4 Financials by Coda Customer Day, outlining the vision and how it will support its customers as they transform the Office of the CFO for the era of Agentic AI. Unit4 has long been trusted by large vendors worldwide, and the firm is now investing in bringing Agentic AI capabilities to automate processes and deliver greater agility and real-time information to the office of the CFO.
Looking forward, the firm is investing in AI, user interface, and analytics capabilities to truly modernise the robust financial platform without changing what it is excellent at. Kudsee also intends to expand its partner ecosystem to support growth.
Global growth continues
Unit4 is seeing growth worldwide. It has identified four key geographies where it has a strong presence. These include the UK & I, Nordics, Benelux, and North America. In addition to these, it also sees France and Germany as core geographic locations. With Prevero (now Unit4 FP&A) beginning its life in Germany, already having a strong customer base there.
Unit4 revealed several customers that have either recently signed or gone live in H2.
- The Swedish Export Credit Corporation is a state-owned company that finances Swedish exporters, their subsidiaries, and their foreign customers.
- De Provincie Zeeland, a provincial government committed to the economic development, growth, and renewal of Zeeland, in the Netherlands.
- Lifeways Community Care Limited, the UK’s largest supported living specialist, supports more than 4,000 people and employs over 9,000 people.
- John Fabick Tractor Company, a Caterpillar dealership headquartered in Fenton, Missouri, United States.
- Achieve together, a leading UK provider of specialist support for people with learning disabilities, autistic people, profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD), acquired brain injuries, mental health needs, deafness and hearing loss and additional support needs.
- Compass Group Belgium N.V. is a leading foodservice company that provides a wide range of catering and support services to businesses, healthcare institutions, educational institutions, sports and leisure events, and individuals across Belgium.
Nick Mayes, Principal Analyst at industry analyst firm PAC, said: “Unit4 is building real momentum at a pivotal time for client organisations as they modernise their core ERP and financial applications. The company’s laser-focus on the people-centric industries that it serves is helping to position ERPx and Coda as key platforms for driving agility and resilience while harnessing the growing potential of artificial intelligence.”
Investment in Continuous Growth
Growth isn’t easy, and Paris has invested in the organisation to ensure that employees are ready to help customers. During the second half of the year, it held an AI Learning festival, with around 2,450 Unit4 employees participating.
Paris described the event saying in a LinkedIn post, “The courses covered everything AI from basic foundations to prompt building, using AI securely and how to make the most of the tools we have in order to improve customer, employee and developer Experience.”
The event had 42 virtual sessions, with over 2,000 attendees. And 800 employees attended physical events across 8 regional hubs. The event featured over 100 speakers and facilitators who taught foundational concepts and ethical considerations to address common fears and explored how AI is used at Unit4.
Key partners, including Microsoft, ServiceNow, and Gainsight, supported the event. The intention is to help Unit4 shape and better deliver Unit4’s AI-enabled future both for its people and its customers.
Constantly improving security
A key consideration for any prospect is the security of its data in cloud-based systems. Unit4 is already ISO 27001, ISO 27017, and SOC 2 compliant. It has further improved its Information Security Management Framework this year with C5 (Cloud Computing Compliance Criteria Catalogue)—type 1 Attestation. The framework was developed by Germany’s Federal Office for Information Security (BSI).
The C5 (Cloud Computing Compliance Criteria Catalogue) criteria catalogue specifies minimum requirements for secure cloud computing and is primarily intended for professional cloud providers, their auditors and customers. It demonstrates Unit4’s unwavering commitment to continuous improvement in security, compliance, and operational excellence.
The certification also delivers some clear benefits to customers, including:
- Trust: Independent validation of Unit4’s security posture
- Transparency: Publicly available audit report
- Compliance: Meets EU and German regulatory expectations
- Credibility: Aligns with stringent EU expectations, boosting confidence in data protection and operational maturity
Enterprise Times: What does this mean
2026 is looking like another solid year of growth for Unit4. Unit4 needs to sustain the momentum it gained in 2025 and continue migrating and attracting new customers to its platform.
It will be interesting to see what Kudsee manages to achieve with Coda as well. Coda is a highly respected and well-loved solution that needs modernisation. If the Unit4 team can deliver an improved solution with automation and Agentic AI integrated, it should be an interesting prospect in the Enterprise market.
