Zoho celebrates growth in Saudi Arabia and unveil POS availability

At Zoholics Saudi Arabia, Zoho announced the availability of VAT-compliant Zoho POS for Saudi businesses. The firm also highlights recent updates to the Zoho One suite of applications, making it even more attractive to businesses.

In addition to that product news, it also announced that its local data centres have received Class B certification from the Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST). Class B means that Zoho adheres to the Cloud Security Controls (CCC) issues set by NCA Class A requirements, constructed facilities, and sustainability tier 3 or above for its in-country data centres.

Class B is one tier below Class C, a certification which is required to host top secret government data. For those Saudi organisations looking for data residency and compliance with NCA Cloud Cybersecurity Controls, this gives Zoho a significant advantage. This continued investment is a natural progression from the SAR 500 million it invested in the Kingdom. Which included the opening of its data centres in Riyadh and Jeddah early last year.

Hyther nizam, president, middle east and africa (mea) at zoho

Hyther Nizam, President, Zoho MEA, commented, “The achievement of the data centre certifications and launching localised solutions showcase our continued investment in the Kingdom, which remains one of our fastest growing markets.

“With government’s push towards digital transformation, and organisations modernising their legacy systems in order to benefit from emerging technologies like AI, Zoho, with its wide portfolio of products and localisation strategy is uniquely positioned to support this growth. We continue to invest in the Kingdom to empower businesses of every size to adopt scalable, future-ready technologies.”

Growth in the Kingdom

Zoho revealed that it achieved 41% growth in the Kingdom last year. That growth has been fuelled by its move upmarket. Which in 2024 drove 84% year-over-year market growth momentum that has continued into 2025.

It now has a cadre of enterprise customers, whose testimonies it will no doubt help gain even more customers. Enterprise Customers include SiFi, Cruise Saudi, Morni, and 9Round. The firm has also signed two high-profile partnerships with football clubs.

In July, it became the technological partner of Al Ahli Club. It will support the club across various phases to uplift its digital ecosystem. Later that same month, it also signed a technology partnership with AlQadsiah FC, one of the oldest clubs in the Kingdom. Zoho will help the club digitise its operations across analytics, communications, and business systems.

As the country ramps up its digital footprint to achieve the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. Saudi Enterprises are increasingly turning to CX modernisation provided by firms like Zoho. Zoho is seeing traction across BFSI, sports, and tourism. Where its Zoho One suite approach is proving popular and replacing disconnected legacy solutions.

Building for the Saudi Market

As Zoho enters new markets, it ensures its products are localised. This is reflected in the popular products amongst Saudi businesses. Popular products include Zoho Books, which offers a ZATCA-approved VAT and e-invoicing-compliant accounting solution. Other popular products driving its growth are:

The firm has also grown its local partner network by 48% in 2024. And doubled its workforce, hiring locally in most cases as it continues to invest in future growth. Across Brunei, KSA and the UAE, it lists 21 premier partners, 10 advanced partners and over 70 authorised partners.

Saran B. Parmasivam, Regional Director, Zoho MEA, commented, “Localisation is not just an initiative for us—it’s a long-term commitment to the Kingdom. By strengthening Arabic support in our products, increasing local integrations, expanding our partner network, and hiring locally for customer-facing roles, we are reinforcing our dedication to serving Saudi businesses and fuelling our growth in the region.

“The launch of localised solutions like Zoho POS, adding AI capabilities in our products, and earning compliance certifications for our DCs are all steps in this direction.”

Zoho POS is available in Saudi Arabia

Zoho POS offers a complete in-store retail experience that will help stores of any size modernise their operations at an attractive price. The starter, standard plan, costs only SAR 39 per month and allows three users and has a host of features.

Retailers can set up the application quickly; Zoho estimates it takes as little as an hour, and the platform is intuitive, reducing the time required for employee training. Employee churn in retail within Saudi Arabia is high. It is estimated at around 25-30% due to limited career advancement, demanding work environments, and competitive wages from other sectors. Rapid training is therefore needed in a sector that may need to onboard people at short notice.

With Vision 2030 promoting a transition to a cashless economy, retailers need to increasingly modernise with cost-effective retail systems. Zoho applications are compliant with ZATCA e-invoicing regulations. And are a good option for an industry rapidly adopting modern POS solutions to support omnichannel operations and compliance requirements.

IMARC estimates that the Saudi Arabian retail market size was valued at USD 293.6 billion in 2025. Looking forward, IMARC Group estimates the market to reach USD 411.7 billion by 2034, exhibiting a CAGR of 3.83% during 2026-2034.

What does Zoho POS deliver

Zoho POS comes with a native billing app, available for Windows, iOS, and Android, usable offline. A mobile app is also available to further streamline throughput. Using an all-in-one console, retailers can manage inventory, customer details, transaction information, and vendor data. They can also gain real-time insights to enhance their store performance with powerful reports on sales, inventory, and more.

Zoho POS integrates with AfterShip, UPS, USPS, and EasyShip for shipping; Shopify and Zoho Commerce for e-commerce; Zoho Books for accounting; and WhatsApp and Twilio for customer and vendor communication. The app supports Arabic, is RTL-oriented, and allows printing customer invoices in Arabic.

The system initially supports a single site; however, additional cash registers, work sites, and storage sites can be added to support the retailer’s growth.

Enterprise Times: What does this mean

Saudi Arabia is yet another country where Zoho is seeing strong growth. That growth is likely to continue, driven by high-profile partnerships and the ability to enter the retail market with a highly competitive offering.

It will be interesting to see whether Zoho can win over some larger retailers and build a strong presence with POS in the region. What wasn’t announced was Zoho’s plan to further invest in the region in the coming years. How much does it hopes to grow, and which markets will it aim to penetrate?
