Parade, tree lighting to highlight Mountain Home’s Whoville Christmas event


The Mountain Home Area Chamber of Commerce has announced the theme for this year’s Christmas parade: “Christmas in Whoville – A Mountain Home Wholiday!” The annual celebration is set for Friday from 4 to 8 in downtown Mountain Home, where residents can expect an evening filled with lights, holiday displays and Whoville-inspired festivities.The event will feature floats, local vendors and the community’s traditional Christmas tree lighting ceremony. Chamber officials said they expect one of the largest turnouts in recent years as preparations get underway.
