Big turnout in MH as Christmas in Whoville parade announces winners

A packed downtown crowd lined Highway 62 on a cold Friday night as the Mountain Home Area Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual Christmas parade and festival, themed “Christmas in Whoville – A Mountain Home Wholiday!”Despite the chilly temperatures, spectators filled the sidewalks to watch dozens of floats and displays inspired by the Dr. Seuss– themed celebration. Chamber officials said this year’s lineup was one of the strongest in recent memory.
“This was easily the most difficult year we’ve ever had judging this parade,” Chamber President Dani Pugsley said. “There were so many amazing floats, and a lot of hard work and dedication went into making the parade a success.”

Judges announced the following winners for 2025:

Craftsmanship Award – ASU-Mountain Home

Creativity Award – NEXT Powered by NAEC

Theme Interpretation Award – Salvation Army
