Amazon Has a Sneaky Way to Get PSVR 2 for Even Less This Black Friday
If you’ve been interested in PlayStation VR 2 but didn’t want to pay the MSRP, then we’ve got very good news.
While Amazon has discounted the Horizon: Call of the Mountain bundle over the last few days, if you know where to look (and are OK with a ‘Used – Like New’ product), then you can save even more this Black Friday. Thanks to a bonus discount, you can get it for $252.
On Amazon’s Resale section of the listing above, look out for the $296.01 option which says ‘Save 15% at Checkout’.
Add the bundle to your basket, then you’ll get a tasty discount at checkout. And, given that the PlayStation VR 2 Horizon: Call of the Wild bundle usually starts at $399.99, you’re saving around $150.
As for condition, Amazon says, “Looks and functions as if it were new. Item will come in original packaging.” That means you’re still getting the headset and those handy controllers, as well as a game built specifically for PlayStation VR 2.
It’s a big step up from the original PlayStation VR, which launched on PS4, and offers an HDR OLED panel with 110-degree field of view, as well as a 120Hz refresh rate and some clever foveated rendering, so wherever you’re looking is rendered with more detail.
We gave the headset a 9/10 score from reviewer Gabriel Moss, who said, “With top-notch visual quality and immersively tactile Sense controllers, PlayStation VR2 represents a quantum leap over its predecessor, setting a new standard for console VR gaming.”
