Snow totals: 3 inches at MSP, more north of the Twin Cities

The snowfall is tapering off in the Twin Cities and snow totals are beginning to trickle in.
Much of Minnesota got at least an inch of snow late Tuesday into Wednesday morning, but totals ranged from just an inch or two in the southern part of the state to over 10 inches up north.

Here are some of the totals confirmed by the National Weather Service:
Owatonna — 1 inch
Jordan — 1.1 inches
Apple Valley — 1.4 inches
Winthrop — 1.5 inches
Eagan — 1.8 inches
Monticello — 2 inches
Rosemount — 2 inches
Stillwater — 2.1 inches
Independence — 2.2 inches
Chanhassen — 2.5 inches
MSP Airport — 3.1 inches
St. Paul Park — 3.1 inches
Maple Grove — 3.7 inches
Osceola, Wis. — 4 inches
Shoreview — 4.5 inches
St. Cloud Airport — 4.8 inches
Brooklyn Park — 5 inches
Alexandria — 5.3 inches
Oak Grove — 5.5 inches
Hermantown — 7.1 inches
Baxter — 7.3 inches
Deer Creek — 8 inches
Moose Lake — 8.3 inches
Gowan — 9.2 inches
Duluth — 10.3 inches
Hawthorne, Wis. — 14 inches
