Downtown Library Extends Weekday Hours, Standardizes Schedule Across MCPL Branches

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — November 25, 2025

The Monroe County Public Library has updated hours at its Downtown location effective today, November 24, bringing its schedule in line with all MCPL branches.

The Downtown Library is now open:

• Monday–Thursday: 9 a.m.–7 p.m.
• Friday–Saturday: 10 a.m.–6 p.m.
• Sunday: 12–6 p.m.

Library officials said Friday–Sunday hours and Bookmobile stop times remain unchanged. With the change, hours are now consistent at every MCPL location.
