Louisiana secures $1.36B in federal funds for broadband expansion

Governor Jeff Landry announced that Louisiana has been approved for $1.36 billion in federal broadband funding, which will create 8,000 to 10,000 new jobs, generate $2 billion to $3 billion in revenue for businesses, and connect approximately 130,000 unserved and underserved locations across the state.
