A driver died Monday night after a head-on crash involving a semi-truck in North Branch Township.
A Minnesota State Patrol crash report says a Jeep Patriot was headed west on Highway 95 when it veered into the eastbound lanes near Hornsby Drive Northeast and collided head-on with a Mack semi-truck.
Authorities say the Jeep immediately became engulfed in flames after the collision.
Investigators haven’t yet released details about the drivers of each vehicle — neither had any passengers — but the State Patrol confirmed a fatality.
The crash remains under investigation.
More details are expected to be released later this week.
