Douglas County authorities asking for information after bullet injures 1 on Interstate 94

Authorities in Douglas County are requesting to speak to individuals who were hunting or shooting on the north side of Interstate 94 on Friday.

The request came after a person was injured near County Road 2 Southeast and Clifford Lake Road when a bullet shot through the back of a car and entered the passenger compartment. The bullet caused minor injuries to one person in the car.

At the time of the incident, the vehicle had been traveling eastbound near mile markers 112-114.

Anyone who was hunting or shooting north of the interstate between 11 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. Friday morning, or if you know someone who was, is asked to contact the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.

The investigation is ongoing.
