Fiery crash in Searcy County kills four people

Four people were killed in a fiery crash in Searcy County Monday afternoon. The Arkansas State Police have identified the victims as 44-year-old Jessica West of St. Joe and an unidentified minor passenger in her vehicle, along with two people in the other vehicle, 69-year-old Dennis Tippen and 63-year-old Julie Tippen, both of Jonesboro, Louisiana.

According to the accident report, the crash happened when the vehicle driven by Dennis Tippen veered into the opposite lane, causing a head-on collision with the West vehicle.





All four of the victims died at the scene.

The accident happened on U.S. Highway 65 in rural Searcy County, north of St. Joe, at 2:37 Monday afternoon.
