K-State women’s basketball guard Izela Arenas joins K-Nation

MANHATTAN (KSNT) – K-State sophomore guard and Louisville transfer Izela Arenas joins K-Nation.

The Los Angeles native racked up 18 points, four rebounds, four assists and three steals in her regular season debut with the ‘Cats versus Omaha.

Arenas caught up with K-Nation Producer Amy Acevedo to talk about her decision to transfer to K-State, her expectations for the season and her past playing days at Sierra Canyon High School.

“I think we found chemistry as soon as we met each other, we’re so close on and off the court,” Arenas said of her teammates. “So, I feel like it’s just a quick, easy click when we’re on the court.”

The full interview can be seen above or on this Sunday’s edition of K-Nation.
