Fire crews battle structure fire in north Abilene

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – A structure fire broke out Sunday afternoon in north Abilene.

Fire crews responded to the 1600 block of Sandefer Street, where part of a building caught fire. As of 2:00 p.m., firefighters were still working to fully extinguish the flames.

Grape Street between Ambler Avenue and Sandefer Street is closed as crews continue to contain the blaze. No injuries have been reported, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
