The advisory applies to customers on Old Cherokee Drive, Parker Drive, Oakdale Drive, Chinaberry Drive, Windsor Drive, Fairview Road, Pineview Drive, Millrose Circle, Purpleheart Tree Lane, and Avalon Lane.
Officials say anyone who experienced low water pressure or a loss of service should boil water for at least one full minute before using it for drinking or cooking. Ice made from unboiled water should also be discarded.
There’s no confirmed contamination, but the advisory was issued out of caution. The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control is working with the utility as repairs continue.
