LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The University of Arkansas at Little Rock announced that it welcomed over 1,800 prospective students and nearly 2,000 total guests on campus.
According to a spokesperson, future Trojans experienced campus life through academic showcases, student panels, admissions support, and interactive sessions with faculty and staff.
The event, named Discover, was described by officials as the university’s largest preview day to date.
During the event, UA Little Rock announced that it will waive its $40 undergraduate application fee until Dec. 31.
“We want students to know that nothing should stand between them and their goals, not even
an application fee,” said Dr. Cody Decker, Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs.
Officials stated that the record-breaking turnout underscores the university’s growing enrollment trend, following a 40% increase in first-time freshmen in fall 2025.
