‘Things are hard for a lot of people’: Crumbl offering free cookies

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — Crumbl Cookies is offering guests a free chocolate chip cookie when they visit a Crumbl store on Thursday.

“We know things are hard for a lot of people right now,” Crumbl’s CEO, Jason McGowan, said in a post on social media. “Crumbl, our franchise partners, and our bakers felt like everyone could use a cookie to make their day a little brighter.”

This comes as the Utah-based Cookie chain announced a limited-time collaboration with lifestyle icon Martha Stewart. Through Nov. 8, Crumbl’s menu will feature desserts celebrating the rerelease of Stewart’s first book “Entertaining.”

“Everyone can get free Chocolate Chip Cookie Thins when they visit a Crumbl store,” McGowan said in a statement. “Thank you to our Franchise Partners, our bakers, Martha Stewart and her team, and everyone in the Crumbl family for making this possible.”

Guests are limited to one cookie per person.
