Rollover crash shuts down portion of US-45 in Vernon Hills
The crash, which appears to have only involved one vehicle, unfolded along the eastbound lane of US-45, near Evergreen Drive, in Vernon Hills.
Skycam 9 was over the scene around 7 a.m. when an overturned white SUV could be spotted just off the roadway as a tow truck waited nearby.
While the circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear, the crash appears to have shut down both lanes of US-45 at Evergreen Drive.
It remains unclear how long the closures will last or if anyone was injured in the crash.
