Two injured in Alexandria shooting, police investigating

ALEXANDRIA, La. (WNTZ) — Alexandria Police are investigating a Tuesday night shooting that left two people injured in the 5000 block of Masonic Drive.

According to police, officers responded to the area around 9:53 p.m. on Nov. 4 after reports of gunfire. Investigators said two individuals drove themselves to a local hospital, where they were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The Alexandria Police Department said the incident remains under investigation, and no further details have been released at this time.
