Alexandria police investigate Friday evening shooting on Mason Street

ALEXANDRIA, La. (WNTZ) – Alexandria police are investigating a shooting that left one person injured Friday evening.

According to the Alexandria Police Department, officers responded around 6:50 p.m. Sept. 12 to the 2500 block of Mason Street. One person was taken to a local hospital and treated for a non-life-threatening injury.

The case remains under investigation, and no further details were immediately released.
