Airron Billiot, 18, of Galliano, is being charged with two counts of attempted second degree murder.
Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies and officers with the Golden Meadow Police Department responded to a domestic incident at a residence on North 2nd Street.
Billiot was reportedly armed with a knife and was attacking family members. When officers arrived, they located Billiot, who surrendered and was immediately taken into custody.
They found two women – one in her 60s and one in her 30s – who each had a knife wound in the neck. Both were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Through investigation, detectives learned Billiot had been involved in a disturbance with family members throughout the day. At one point, Billiot reportedly threatened to kill everyone in the house, according to LPSO.
He allegedly armed himself with a knife and struck each of the women in the neck. During questioning, Billiot admitted to his involvement.
He was booked into the Lafourche Parish jail in Thibodaux. Bail is set at $500,000.
