Fire at Metairie apartment building under investigation

METAIRIE, La. (WGNO) — The Jefferson Parish Fire Department was on the scene of an apartment fire in Metairie on Thursday morning, Nov. 6.

Around 9 a.m., firefighters responded to the 4500 block of Lefkoe Street where they witnessed smoke coming from the second floor of the building.
