NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — New Orleans City officials celebrated the completion of facility upgrades at the Wesley Barrow Stadium on Thursday, Nov. 6.

According to city officials, the improvements to the baseball stadium included the installation of turf used in Super Bowl LIX, donated by the NFL, to replace the infield turf, as well as a new scoreboard and a new HVAC system in the indoor batting facility. The parking lot was resurfaced and restriped as well.

Officials said $1,417,892 of City Bonds and State Capital Outlay funds were spent on the upgrades.
