LEESVILLE, La. (WNTZ) – The Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office announced several recent arrests, including individuals charged with drug distribution, obscenity, and outstanding warrants, according to Sheriff Sam Craft.

On Oct. 31, deputies arrested Randall Lynn Haymon II, 35, of Leesville, on an out-of-jurisdiction bench warrant from Sabine Parish. Haymon was later transferred to Sabine Parish authorities.

Also on Oct. 31, Ty’reke Elmore, 23, of Leesville, was arrested on an outstanding bench warrant. Bond was denied, and Elmore remains in the Vernon Parish Jail.

On Nov. 3, deputies arrested Jenea Powell, 24, of Pitkin, on charges of obscenity and resisting an officer. Bond has not been set, and Powell remains in jail.

On Nov. 4, Kirstyn Denae Jeane, 33, of Leesville, was charged with obstruction to driver’s view or driving mechanism prohibited and distribution of a Schedule II narcotic. Jeane also remains in the Vernon Parish Jail pending bond.

The Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate these cases.
