Beloit police arrest 19-year-old suspect in June shooting

BELOIT, Wis. (WTVO) — Beloit Police announced an arrest related to a shooting that happened in June.

According to police, 19-year-old Marvin Marshall was taken into custody late last week after he was identified as a suspect in the crime.

Authorities said the shooting happened on June 23rd, around 10:23 p.m., near Iva Court and Scotties Drive.

Officers found the shooting victim hiding in the 2700 block of Prairie Avenue when they arrived at the scene. One home was riddled with bullet holes, police said.

Marshall has been charged with first-degree recklessly endangering safety.
