4-year-old girl injured in Humboldt Park shooting

CHICAGO (WGN) – A 4-year-old girl was injured after being shot Tuesday evening on the city’s West Side.

Chicago police said the shooting happened at around 6:10 p.m. Tuesday in the 3100 block of West Franklin Boulevard in Humboldt Park.

A 4-year-old girl was inside an apartment when she was shot in the left leg. She was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition, according to investigators.

No other information was released and Area Three Detectives are investigating.
