These Charlotte companies are the healthiest in North Carolina

(QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A pair of Charlotte companies and several local municipalities were among the top honorees for investing in the health of their employees.

Compass Group USA and Premier Inc. were first in their respective categories for the Healthiest Employers in North Carolina in 2025. The winners were announced this fall by the Healthiest Employers website, in partnership with Springbuk.

Here are the Charlotte-area employees with top-three honors:

It also provides programs that help associates manage money wisely, including $89 million accessed in early earned wages, and boast 1,000 participants in financial well-being webinars.

In 2024, the company’s Health and Wellness Events was highlighted by the return of the annual Health and Wellness Challenge. With 48% employee participation, the program led to a notable increase in social media activity, as employees shared step goals, workout clips and other wellness achievements.
