Teen shot in Columbia County; suspect sought
BLOOMSBURG – A teen was shot overnight in Columbia County and police are looking for the suspect.
According to Bloomsburg Police, the shooting happened around 11:30pm Saturday night in the 300 block of East Street in town.
A 16-year-old boy had been shot by a handgun, police said.
The suspect was seen fleeing on East Street towards Third Street.
He is described as a male wearing a dark-colored sweatshirt, read pants, black and white colored sneakers, and a black beanie.
At least three rounds were fired from the handgun, police said.
