Mahanoy man accused in Bloomsburg shooting
BLOOMSBURG – A Mahanoy City man is in Columbia County Prison, accused of shooting a teen in Bloomsburg.
Samuel Charles Evans, 19, of Mahanoy City,was arrested in the borough by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force.
He is accused of shooting a 16-year-old boy in the 300 block of East Street in Bloomsburg around 12:30pm Saturday.
Evans is facing attempted homicide, aggravated assault, and related charges.
He was arraigned and committed to Columbia County Prison, unable to post $500,000 bail.
