No rain in sight as sunshine takes hold and temps warm up
Our normal high is 76° and it looks like we may stay warmer than that for the next week. As we get plenty of sunshine and winds from the south, our temperatures are heading in the wrong direction. We will hit 78° today but as the week goes on we will move into the 80s.
Tonight will be another cold night with us dropping to 50° in Austin and the surrounding areas into the 40s. A jacket will be needed and be sure to bring in the pets!
High pressure ridging will continue to warm our temperatures through the workweek, with highs in the mid-to-upper 80s possible mid-week. Rain chances will be minimal.
A cold front will arrive next weekend, with limited available moisture and cooler temperatures returning next week.
