Chester Pike closed through Prospect Park due to serious crash

PROSPECT PARK, Pa. (WPHL) — Officials reported that part of Chester Pike in Delaware County is closed after a serious crash on Monday.

The roadway will be closed for an extended period of time between Summit Ave. and Amosland Rd., according to police.

Prospect Park Police have released the following statement:

Officials say a Corvette was driving recklessly and caused multiple crashes, including two entrapments.

At least one person is in serious condition after the crash, according to officials.

Officials are asking the public to avoid this area. The investigation is ongoing.
