Woman struck and killed by car in Terrebonne Parish
TERREBONNE PARISH, La. (WGNO) — A woman was struck and killed by a car in Terrebonne Parish Saturday, Nov. 1.
According to the Louisiana State Police, the crash claimed the life of 81-year-old Lois Blanchard of Thibodaux. The incident occurred on Highway 20 near Colonial Drive around 9:00 p.m.

LSP officials said a 1994 Buick Park Avenue was traveling south in the left lane. At the same time, Blanchard was standing in the left lane and was struck by the Buick.

Blanchard sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital, where she later died.
