SPAR and Healthy Blue host 3rd annual trunk or treat event

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — To get things rolling in the Halloween spirit, SPAR and Healthy Blue hosted their 3rd annual Trunk or Treat at Cargill Sports Complex to create a night of fun for kids and their families.

The division manager for SPAR, Kenneth Cornelius, says this is the perfect event to have fun while keeping your children safe.

“We have the Shreveport Police Department, the sheriff’s department, and the fire department. So, parents are comfortable, kids are comfortable, and everybody’s just safe knowing that there’s security. Everything’s going to be okay, and that’s big in Shreveport,” said Cornelius.

Children came to the event to collect a large amount of candy to take home. The event brought laughs and joy to the kids, just like it does every year.
