At around 12:36 p.m., deputies responded to a complaint at Madden Sanitation on Highway 126 North about a woman loitering on the property. The woman, identified as 39-year-old Kelly Nicole Moore, was driving a white 2022 Dodge Ram 2500 pickup reported stolen earlier by the Sharp County Sheriff’s Office.
When deputies arrived, Moore fled in the vehicle down Baxter County Road 6, also known as Tucker Cemetery Road. The pursuit lasted roughly one minute and ended when the truck ran out of fuel near the intersection of CR 6 and Shamrock Lane. Additional deputies and the Arkansas State Police assisted in the response.
Moore was taken into custody and transported to the Baxter County Detention Center. She faces felony charges of fleeing by vehicle and theft by receiving, with a $5,000 bond. She is also being transferred to Sharp County to face additional burglary and theft charges.
