It’s arguably one of the most decorated homes during Halloween in Utah.
For the last three years, Jessica Archibald and her family have displayed more than 200 pumpkins in front of their home near 800 E and 300 S, attracting thousands from across the state to stop by for some photos.
“It’s a symbol of my family’s tradition of just creating fun neighborhood memories for kids,” Archibald told ABC4 News Friday.
While the tradition is in its early years at her current home, Archibald said that Halloween has always been a celebrated holiday in her family.
“My family’s always been Halloween people,” Archibald said. “My parents make Halloween so fun. My brother started a version of the pumpkin house at our childhood home and when he moved across the country, he couldn’t take the pumpkins with him, so I carried on the family legacy and the historical home that we live in and have restored is just the perfect backdrop for all of these pumpkins.”
It’s also a perfect backdrop for selfies. The pumpkin decorated home has gone viral on social media and stunning pictures of it can be found on Archibald’s Instagram page: @jessicaarchibald.
This Halloween, the Archibalds displayed more than 248 pumpkins and about 100 of them were carved by hand.
