
FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A 16-year-old accused of stabbing a 13-year-old in Fresno on Thursday was arrested, police said.
On Oct. 30, police responded to the area of Lewis and Clark Avenues around 8:20 a.m. They received a call about a boy who was stabbed.
When officers arrived, they found a 13-year-old suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was transported to Community Regional Medical Center, where he was listed in critical but stable condition.
The boy was stabbed at least once in the upper body after some type of disturbance, according to police.
Police said that witness statements led officers to a residence where detectives served a search warrant, and the 16-year-old suspect was located.
The 16-year-old was arrested and transported to the Juvenile Justice Campus for various charges. He is facing conspiracy to commit a crime and assault with a deadly weapon other than a firearm.
