Kansas earns bounce-back win, beats Oklahoma State on homecoming

LAWRENCE (KSNT)- Kansas beat Oklahoma State 38-21 on Saturday afternoon to improve to 5-4.

The Jayhawks are one win away from bowl eligibility.

Kansas trailed 7-3 after a quarter, but would outscore the Cowboys 35-14 from that point for the win.

Jalon Daniels was 13-19 on the day with two touchdowns through the air to Boden Groen and Bryson Canty. Daniels added 28 yards on the ground.

The run-game was impressive for the Jayhawks, managing 232 yards on the ground with three rushers over 40 yards.

Daniel Hishaw Jr. led the pack with two touchdowns on 65 yards. LeShon Williams had 77 yards and a score. Isaiah Marshall had one carry for 43 yards.

Blake Herold and Marcus Calvin each had a sack on the defensive side for the ‘Hawks.

Bangally Kamara had seven solo tackles along with his eight on the day.

Kansas will now hit the road to Tuscon to take on the Arizona Wildcats next Saturday.

Kickoff set for 2:30 p.m. Central Time.
