Viral trend grabbing food from drive-thru window and running away leads to assault at Raising Cane’s; Ohio police ask for public’s help identifying suspect

FINDLAY, Ohio – The Findlay Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in an assault at Raising Cane’s, located at 1870 Tiffin Avenue.

According to police, the incident is connected to a social media trend where individuals attempt to grab food from restaurant drive-thru windows. During this incident, a restaurant employee’s arm was grabbed and forced into a brick wall. The employee sustained injuries that required surgery.

Police released an image of the suspect and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
