Ogle County woman pleads guilty to DUI crash that killed Addison man

OREGON, Ill. (WTVO) — Amy Anthenat, 50, of Creston, has pleaded guilty to a DUI crash that killed an Addison man in Ogle County in June 2022.

On June 19th, 2022, just prior to 4 p.m., the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office said that Anthenat was driving north on Mulford Road in June and did not stop at the intersection with Route 64.

She is accused of hitting and killing Richard Andrews who was driving eastbound.

This week, Anthenat pleaded guilty to aggravated DUI causing bodily harm.

She is set to be sentenced on February 11th, 2026.
