Missing child alert: Janesville police search for autistic boy
JANESVILLE, Wis. (WTVO) — UPDATE: As of 11 a.m., police say 12-year-old Gavyn Pollock has been found safe.

ORIGINAL STORY: At 10:38 a.m. Thursday, Janesville Police issued a notice of a missing child, and are asking the public for help finding him.

Police said Gavyn Pollock, 12, left Edison Middle School, at 1649 S. Chatham Street, earlier this morning.

Authorities did not provide a description of Gavyn, but provided media outlets with a photo.

According to police, Gavyn is autistic and may be vulnerable. He was said to be wearing a white or grey sweatshirt.

Anyone with information on his wherabouts is asked to contac the Rock County Communications Center at 608-757-2244.
