ASP officials said Jacob Lowell Smith was arrested Tuesday at an abandoned house trailer just east of Oak Grove Heights in Greene County. Smith was wanted as a parole absconder.
Investigators said he was named as a person of interest in the deaths of 54-year-old Tonya Stallings and 33-year-old Ashley Stallings, both of Ash Flat.
Special agents said the victims were found at a home on Sweet Clover Lane in Ash Flat Tuesday, Oct. 21. Both victims were taken to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory to determine the cause and manner of death.
Smith is being held at the Greene County Detention Center on the absconder warrant as the investigation continues.
