Fire breaks out at Cupertino strip mall Wednesday

(KRON) — Firefighters in Cupertino continue to mop up after battling a strip mall fire early Wednesday, according to the Santa Clara County Fire Department.

Crews responded to reports of the fire at 2:46 a.m., officials said. Three businesses at the De Anza Centre, located at 10620 South De Anza Boulevard, were impacted by the blaze.

According to SCC Fire, there were no injuries in the response.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Two lanes of southbound S. De Anza remain closed as firefighting crews remain in the area.
