Louisiana DOTD begins phase 2 of US 165/167 interchange repair
According to DOTD, the next phase will reopen the outside lanes on US 165, while the inside lanes will close for reconstruction. All US 167 ramps at US 165 are set to reopen, though median crossovers will remain closed throughout this phase of construction.
DOTD officials said the second phase of the project is expected to continue through January 2026, weather permitting.
Motorists are urged to use caution when traveling through the area and to be alert for work crews and changing traffic patterns.
