
BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Voters in East Baton Rouge Parish are invited to ask questions about Thrive EBR, a tax plan with three proposals on the November ballot.
The iniative aims to rededicate taxes from the parish library system, Mosquito Abatement and Rodent Control and the Council on Aging to the general fund. People are invited to attend community meetings to learn more about the tax plan.

Community meetings before Nov. 15 election
- When: 6:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 27.
- Where: The Chapel Baton Rouge (9611 Siegen Lane).
- When: 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28.
- Where: Kristenwood Catering and Reception Center (14052 Greenwell Springs Road).
- When: 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 3.
- Where: MLK Community Center (4000 Gus Young Ave.)
