Enfield police investigating deadly crash on Douglas Road

ENFIELD, Conn. (WWLP) – The Enfield Police Department Traffic Division is investigating a deadly motor vehicle collision that occurred Tuesday morning on Douglas Road.

According to police, the crash happened at approximately 10:09 a.m. on Tuesday at 14 Douglas Road and involved a Chevrolet Silverado.

Police said the driver of the Silverado, 57-year-old Michael Swart, was brought to Johnson Memorial Hospital with serious injuries, where he died several hours later.

The Enfield Police Department Traffic Division continues to investigate the crash. Anyone with information is asked to contact Officer P. Nisyrios at (860) 763-8985.
