14-time Grammy winner Emmylou Harris headlining benefit concert in Bossier

BOSSIER CITY, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – The James Burton Foundation will host a fundraising concert featuring 14-time Grammy winner and Country Music Hall of Famer Emmylou Harris.

“Proceeds will benefit The James Burton Foundation, which for two decades has provided free guitars to schools, veterans, and children’s hospitals throughout the United States and Europe,” a press release stated. “Funds raised will supply guitars and resources for Bossier Parish schools to launch an exciting new music education program designed to teach music and inspire creativity, confidence, and self-expression.”
