LAKE CHARLES, La. (KLFY) — A Texas man is accused of raping a woman in Calcasieu Parish, authorities said.
Oliver Ramos, 37, of Rosharon, Texas is charged with third degree rape.
Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office Special Victims Unit detectives began an investigation Oct. 17 after receiving a complaint regarding a rape.
The victim told detectives she went to a bar with someone she recently met, whom she knew as Oliver. Later that evening, she passed out and woke up to him allegedly raping her.
Ramos was located Friday, arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Parish Jail. He was released on a $400,000 bond.
