Pedestrian killed after hit-and-run on Ocean Avenue in San Francisco
Police were informed that the collision was between a vehicle and a pedestrian. The pedestrian died at the scene of the crash, SFPD said.
Later that night, SFPD located a possible suspect and vehicle on the 500 block of Shields Street, about a mile away from the hit-and-run. According to SFPD, the individual was detained for further investigation.
