Four homes flood in SF water main break Monday
Fire crews responded at 6:35 a.m. to Santos Street between Velasco and Geneva avenues and found the roadway flooded, officials said. Four homes in the area were impacted by the flooding, and crews used pumps to remove the water from residences, SFFD said.
SF Water Power Sewer and PG&E responded to the scene and the water main was shut off, officials said in an update just after 8 a.m. The water main damage is undergoing repair.
Residents were not required to evacuate while crews responded, SFFD said.
People are advised to avoid the area.
