Falcon 9 rocket launch scheduled from Vandenberg SFB

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A Falcon 9 rocket launch is scheduled for Monday afternoon out of Vandenberg Space Force Base.

A launch window between 2:12 p.m. and 6:12 p.m. has been set for the launch of a Falcon 9 rocket, carrying several satellites, on Oct. 27.

If the sky is clear the launch, the rocket could be visible from Bakersfield, officials said.

The rocket will attempt to land on a drone ship approximately eight minutes after launching.
